If your business has been using Intuit's QuickBooks accounting
software and you've decided for one reason or another to remove the program, a
straight uninstall seems like a simple procedure. But if you've decided you
want a completely clean uninstall, including any modules left behind in the
computer's Registry, you'll need to take a few extra steps. You'll also need
some extra software in order to completely expunge Quickbooks from the
Registry.
1. Click Start and select "Control
Panel."
2. Click "Uninstall a
Program" from the "Programs"
heading.
3. Select "QuickBooks"
from the list of programs and click "Uninstall."
Follow all on-screen instructions in the uninstall wizard.
4. Select "QuickBooks
Product Listing" from the programs list and click "Uninstall." Follow all on-screen instructions for the
uninstall wizard.
